I typically only post the good things about my business, but I think this serves as a good reminder. A business owner wears many hats. I call myself “the one woman show”. Running a business comes with the good, bad and ugly. A client called at 11pm Wednesday night and left a voicemail. She also booked a session on my website shortly after. I only saw all of this Thursday morning. She didn’t book a consultation with her appointment. It clearly states on my website, “all new clients need a consult”. I texted her later on Thursday telling her I won’t have time for her appointment and consult. She responded (rudely) late last night. And then I woke up to these messages. No one should expect an immediate response to your message. I don’t owe a client my time at midnight, especially. I have a family that comes before my business.
