Having locs is a journey that requires education 😌. Proper maintenance is key, but we have to have a good foundation. When you are initially doing your starter locs, hair density and your curl pattern plays a big part on how your locs are going to mature and their longevity. An improper beginning and bad maintenance can mess up your journey from the very start. It is very important that you as the client are doing your homework on the potential stylist that will start and maintain your locs. Don't be afraid to ask questions.
