It’s been a great ride, but I have decided it is time to say goodbye. Auria Salon has officially closed its doors.

Thank you all for your support through my good times but most importantly, my rough ones. I appreciate every one of you and enjoyed hearing about your day, your kids weddings, the birth of babies, the troubles you were going through. It was a joy to laugh with you and a pleasure to cry along side of some of your tough times.

I will miss you!

It’s great to be back! Thank you all for bearing with us. It was a lot of work to prepare for opening. It has been quite the learning curve, and will take a bit of time to find our groove.

I just wanted to touch on the mask/blow dry subject as it seems to be trending right now..

We JUST went green. This does not mean we are “back to normal”.

Avedas’ salon reopening document has been very clear with the standard of protocol we are to follow.

Rules for the salon:

-You MUST wear a mask. I wear one for the entire day to protect you, I would really appreciate that be reciprocated.

-We ask you wait in your car until flagged in. Once flagged in, your temperature will be taken and you will be asked to wash your hands. Following that you will walk to the chair.

-We do not have a reception area anymore.

-We do not have a waiting room.

-We clean everything every 15 minutes, and after each client.

Because life hasn’t been open for 3 months, it’s imperative that we follow these rules. I have heard the frustrations from both sides of pro-mask wearing and anti-mask wearing. You are each completely entitled to your opinion, but while inside Auria Salon, you will be required to wear a mask. If you are having trouble with it on, we will provide a couple drops of cooling oil on a pad for you to rub inside your mask.

Moving on to Blow drys...

Are we allowed to use them?

Unfortunately, the answer is who knows. There hasn’t been enough research on this topic to deliver a verdict one way or another.

Avedas’ hand book recommends we do not, and that is what we are following.

Please understand that we are taking all of this precaution for YOU. You all know I can’t stand a wet head leaving the salon!

Hi All!

I am opening this Friday, but am only allowed one person at a time. Please be patient with me as I am only able to work part time because of my beautiful babies! I want to fit everyone in, and will do my best! I am doing my personal clients first, no new clients. In about 2-3 weeks I will hopefully be able to open my book to referral-only clients.

Unfortunately, I am not accepting Green Apple at this time because I need to make up for the 3 month closure 😬.
