Laura and I met when she was just 15-16 yrs old. She was a new assistant at the Salon I was in before I opened my own Salon.
She has been with me since Day 1 of Salon 22! She is my !!!! She has always been my rock! Through all the ups and downs of Salon ownership, I knew I would look around and she would be there. ❤️ I am forever grateful for that! We have a bond that simply can not be broken!
I watched her grow up personally n professionally infront of my eyes!
I am sooooooo thankful for all the years of friendship and support!
She is more than a friend, I always tell her she's like my "step daughter" or "adopted niece"!!!❤️
This is where I get teary eyed!
I am forever grateful and can not thank her enough! Blessed beyond words!
We might not be working together after the new year, but our relationship will just grow from here! She can't get rid of me, even if she tried!!! Lol

This is Lisa Love,
I wanted to let you all know that after 37 years as a hairstylist and 20 years as a salon owner, I am retiring!!! 😊
At the age of 18, I started working in a downtown salon and haven't stopped since! I knew then that making people feel good about themselves was my life's calling!!!!! Find something you love and work hard at it! Then you will love your life! Time will fly by!!!!! Can't believe I have been standing behind the chair all these years!
It all came so naturally to me! I have always been creative and this industry allows you to do just that! I was born to do this!
Opening my own salon in Lawrenceville, in 2004 was a dream come true! Then buying my building and renovating it and moving my Salon to Millvale in 2014 was like coming home!!!!!! This industry has been so awesome and the opportunities were endless! Winning a Matrix color contest, and going to school in New York City at the Matrix Global Academy was one of my personal career highlights! The people I have met, and the clients who have become friends, some as close as family has truly been special to me! We have shared so many stories and life's events together, I will cherish them forever. I will be working til the end of the year and then plan on getting my knee fixed in January or February. I cannot wait to have some much-needed time off to repair, relax, rejuvenate, and spend more time with my family, my dog and my friends!!!!! Time to move on to life's next adventure!!!
