Hey all! I just want to put this out there for all of you who were wondering! I am still at Salon Experience, however, my online booking is still turned off and will remain so until I can go back to work full time. This year has been a challenge to say the least. I am still trying to fit a full time, fully booked schedule of clients into part time hours. I apologize to all of my clients who like to book online but I am unable to take new clients right now as I am trying to reserve my available spots for my regular clients. Hopefully, August 1st I will be able to resume a full time schedule. If you need to get in with me you can text my cell phone at 413-212-9422. Please be patient. I am booked out at least a month and a half. I have been trying to stay late and come in early to accommodate everyone and I truly appreciate your business. If you cannot make an appointment please call me and let me know at least 24 hours in advance. I am still only able to work half of my usual work hours and I have a waitlist a mile long. I work for myself so if you don’t show I don’t get paid and if I don’t have notice then I can’t call one of the many people who have been waiting to get in with me. Thanks!

Update for those of you that are curious. We are currently still open. I am pretty much fully booked into January as we are still practicing social distancing protocols which has reduced my hours of operation. We clean and disinfect between each clients. If you have an appointment booked with me, you have to wear a mask over your mouth and nose. You cannot take it off when you sit down in my chair. Please wait in your car until I come out for you. I may run a few minutes late due to the extra cleaning of every surface that has been touched by my previous client. Hand sanitize upon entering the salon.
Additionally, please come ALONE. (Unless you have a child who has an appointment adjacent to yours or your child is too little to come in alone). We really need to adhere to these rules because I would like to remain open through the holidays. Hey everybody! I have been back up and running for a month now! Thank you to all that reached out and have come in to see me! I am still going through my client list to get people in that had appointments previous to our shut down. I apologize for the delays in appointments. I am doing my best. I have gone from 40 hours a week to 15 becuase of our social distancing restrictions and I am working hard to get everyone taken care of. If I haven’t reached out to you yet it’s because that while I’m working limited hours at the salon I am working everyday at my house to book appointments and keep up with orders for products and supplies. My kids are home as well and being that it is summertime, I have to spend time with them and my dad also. So... first day back and I’m happy to say it was a great one! I miss my people! I miss all of you so much who I’ve grown up with in my career and I got to see some of you today. It was a good day. Thank you to all of my clients who came to see me today! It was a breath of fresh air.... even through a mask! To all of my clients that I haven’t gotten to yet... please be patient. I’m doing the best I can with the time slots I can work. I will get you all in!

Hi everyone! Yes... the news is true... we are reopening on May 25th. I have been scheduling appointments for the past 7 hours so, if you haven’t heard from me yet you will hear from me either tomorrow or Wednesday! I have been going through my list and I need to take a break for the night to take care of my kids and make supper.

Just to let you know, we will be diligent about sanitizing the salon. We ask that our customers wait in their cars until their appointment and we will come and get you. Also, masks are required. I know how some people feel about them but I just want to put it out there that I will not do your hair unless you have a mask on. We have many elderly clients who we care very deeply for, in addition to some that are immune-compromised. They have been very thankful for this. So.. please... let us keep those numbers down and do our part to keep each other safe. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ hope yo see you all very soon!

So after watching Governor Baker’s news conference today I amd pretty sure it’s safe to say that we will not be re-opening on May 18th. He spoke of a 4 Phase re-opening based on the ability to socially distance which we all know is not possible at a salon just yet. He also said that within the coming week more guidelines will be made available as far as sanitation practices that are specific to industry. We have not gotten any guidance yet as far as what will be expected from us by our state licensing board. I am as unsure about an opening date as you are so please be patient. I hope we will have more information by the end of the week so we can start booking clients. Stay safe and stay healthy!

Hello to all of my loyal and very patient clients! I just wanted to touch base with you all in order to give you an update. Tentatively, Governor Baker has mentioned May 18 as a reopening date. Lori Mickle, our owner has gone to great lengths to ready our salon for reopening. Part of that effort is that, to ensure social distancing, all of the stylists, including myself, will be working shorter schedules and less hours. I know many of you are anxious to get back in for colors and haircuts (I feel your pain). I have compiled a list of clients who have already missed their appointments due to our closure, and a list of people who have reached out to me with interest of getting in. I have not made phone calls yet to schedule people yet for two reasons. 1. I am trying to work out times for my most vulnerable clients to ensure their absolute safety; and 2. I am trying to feel out the state of our county in regards to threat level so when I begin to rebook I can say with reasonable certainty that the May 18th start date isn’t pushed back further. Please bear with me. I want nothing more than to be back to work and to see all of you, even if I can’t see your smiles or give you a hug. I believe I will be making phone calls very soon and based on my new schedule, many of your standing appointments will be moved to accommodate my new schedule, at least for the time being. Many of you have reached out to me to go do your hair at your house. I would like to say that if I can’t schedule you within a reasonable amount of time after May 18 I am willing to make house calls but I will need to set a day aside in order to do that and also make sure I have enough safety supplies so as not to put you, or my other clients at risk. I love and miss you all! I look forward to hearing your voices when I begin to make those calls. And thank you again for your patience. It really means the world to me! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Salon Experience is still closed until further notice from the government. As of right now we are not accepting online bookings but rest assured that if you had an appointment booked already that I will be in contact with you when I have further information. In the meantime... stay safe, stay healthy and keep in touch. To all of my loyal, wonderful clients... our date has been set back to May 4 tentatively. I understand that many of you are frustrated, as are all of us. Please practice safe social distancing and stay home so we can all get back to work and conduct our business in a safe environment. I hate to say it but my job is not a safe one in this new normal. My fellow stylists and I work in very close proximity to our clients and for this reason I will not do any hair until my business is back up and running.
It’s also against the state protocols and I am also not willing to jeopardize my license or anyone’s life over hair. Please understand.

I will be leaving all of my clients in my schedule book so I can keep track of who already had an appointment.
This will help me schedule you in the future. If you receive a confirmation text or email before May 4 please just disregard for now. First, I would like to thank all of my wonderful clients for their patronage. Secondly, amid the current outbreak of Corona virus I would just like to let all of my clients know that I, as well as the other ladies in the salon will be extra vigilant with the cleaning of the salon and I will be disinfecting my station and chair and my sinks in between each of my clients. This may take me a little extra time so thank you for your patience in advance. As always, my combs and brushes are cleaned and disinfected between each client before they are used again and all of our towels and capes are only used once on a client and laundered fresh capes and towels are provided for each new client. We have hand sanitizer available for clients to use at the front desk as always and I also want to assure all clients that I wipe down my phone and credit card reader before it is touched by a new client each time as well. As many of you know, I have a few very high risk people in my life that I love very much, so I do not want this virus to get out of hand. I also please ask you that if you have symptoms of a cold, flu, stomach bug or corona virus to please contact me to reschedule as I do not want to put my loved ones or anyone else’s loved ones at risk.
