Lisa loves to be creative and always has a new project going on, whether it is wild crafting herbs for the medicine cabinet, growing and canning vegetables for the pantry, fermenting, making rag rugs, spinning yarn or dyeing botanical silk scarves. Things That Work started during a home transformation in 2013 when learning about self sufficiency and natural alternatives. This developed over time to become a neighborhood business offering simple, effective natural products to families and businesses that care around the Berkshires and beyond.

After a hilarious OOPS trying out my camp hammock on my fledgling cherry tree-- that no one witnessed -what a waste of a moment!-- I found myself with an excess of cherry leaves just in time for my latest silk restock.
Trying to beat the sun coming over my house to my work area.... it's HOT!
