I got the opportunity to take a weekend trip to San Fran this weekend to visit the Academy Sciences, experience the culture in Japan Town, and visit the Botanical Gardens at Berkeley to soak in their wonderful herb garden.
As an esthetician, small business owner, aspiring herbalist, and lover of art I am so excited to of been able to get some beautiful new pieces for the spa to share with you guys. The small shops were the sweetest and expressed so much gratitude for shopping with them. I personally know the feeling and absolutely want you to know that the pieces you enjoy around the spa that make it so unique are due to making an effort to patron small makers, artists, and local businesses. It is so important to support small when you can. One flower in this bouquet takes on average 8 hours to crochet. Literally a labor of such beauty and love!
The herbal gardens are so inspiring to me. I feel at home near a garden, specifically an herb garden. I have deep seated appreciation for what the plants give us. My herb garden is on its way to being luscious so come 2027 I will have some beautiful plants to share with you. I am so eager to start herbal school this September and further my knowledge.
The jars were preserved fish specimens from the VIP private tour at the academy- the oldest ones shown here can date back to the mid 1800s in original jars.
I look forward to seeing you all back at the spa this week 💜🙏🌿

If you are a client of mine, you already KNOW I do he lovin’ my analogies to explain complex skin functions.
I thought this would be a fun way to share some skin education so you can understand how absolutely freaking awesome our skin is! (And why it is important to take care of it, protect it, and strengthen it)
I feel like we always hear the term “barrier” but don’t actually understand what it means. These little analogies helped me get through school + trainings and I think are such a fun way to learn! I mean our barrier is kinda cool, right?
When our barrier is feeling attacked- this is when our skin starts to act up. It can feel tight, dull, red, bumpy, reactive, itchy, flaky, stingy, and sensitive. A healthy barrier heals fast, feels plump, and acts resilient. Much of our barrier health is determined by what we use as skincare. (Ill tag my fave brands we partner with above that correspond with a primary aspect of the barrier!)
If you like this content, I’ll definitely make more. Let me know what else you want to see broken down ✨✨

I think my favorite part about progress photos is seeing the life and happiness brought back into their faces- seeing her smile genuinely makes me feel so many emotion’s but one that sticks out to me most is usually how proud I am of them.
Typically, clients come to me during extremely difficult times in their lives. We often see our skin and complexion respond to our environment- emotionally and physically.
Of course topical skincare plays a huge role, but skincare is more than just what we put on it.
Thank you for trusting me to guide you and be your esty 🥹🫶💜
We were asked for something simple, but I can never just do simple 🤣 even easy to follow kits can have pizazz ✨✨🌱
genandmoon and I have been putting these kits together this week (shes the best for helping cut and fold all these trifolds 💜)
I am so excited to drop these off and hear how the event went. is always hosting cool events with small businesses. I highly recommend checking them out.
Good morning, here is my latest gold nugget find 💫✨🌟☕️

This is what differentiates a true personilized skin professional vs. a cookie cutter application process that often leads to your skin yo-yoing + no true lasting progress. 💜💜
