Drying more lavenders.

We harvested some of our white Grosso lavenders, Lavandula Munstead, and Lavender-Avignon-Early Blue to start drying them for potential use in soaps, candles, etc.

Lavare Soap Etsy shop has been on vacation but we keep occupied by doing fun R&D on other potential products such as scented soy wax container candles.

Featured in this photo is a lavender tea and tonic candle using recycled container of glass and tin.

R & D on candles, including recycled wax and containers, and blending unique scents like cashmere plum rose, black currant jasmine and tangerine, black violet and saffron, fireside red ginger saffron, Calla Lily, rose petals, black amber and plum, and rose and oud.

Happy Friday from Lavare Soap!

Recycled wax and recycled glass candle container.

The used wax still has a little bit of scent but I added black amber and plum, rose and oud.

We recycled used decorative tin containers and a small glass jar by making scented soy container candles.

The scent used for the candles is a blend of lavender, rose and oud.

As a personal touch, we used dehydrated lavenders that we harvested from our property and saved several years ago.

It is amazing that these dehydrated flowers are still so fragrant after many years!

I decided to make beeswax candle with a hint of lavender, so I can utilize a used small jar that used to contain white sturgeon pate, instead of throwing the jar away.

Beeswax already has a natural sweet smell, but I added a few drops of lavender essential oil to the melted wax.

This candle can be a nice small gift, especially for someone who loves candles.

We are always striving for no waste! Or at least less of it!

Upcycled melted soy wax to create pillar and flower candles and succulent soy wax melts, with the following scent blend: calla lily, rose petals, black amber and plum, and vetiver.

I chose to color the wax on the lighter violet / lighter purple side but the scent of these soy wax melts and candles is black violet and saffron.

Love, love, love this scent on its own!
