COMBO BROWS HEALING JOURNEY ✨
Fresh brows are only the beginning. What you see on Day 1 is not the final healed result.
✨ DAY 1–3 | Fresh & Defined
Brows usually look darker, sharper, and more defined right after the appointment. Hair strokes may look very crisp and the shading may appear stronger than expected. This is normal — the color will soften as the skin heals.
✨ DAY 4–10 | Flaking & Peeling
Light flaking or peeling may begin. Some areas can look patchy, lighter, or uneven during this stage.
Let the skin exfoliate naturally — picking or peeling too early can affect pigment retention.
✨ WEEK 2–4 | The “Where Did My Brows Go?” Stage 😅
After peeling, the brows may suddenly look much lighter. Fine hair strokes can become faint or seem to disappear in certain areas.
This doesn’t automatically mean the pigment is gone. The skin is still recovering and the color underneath can temporarily look muted.
✨ WEEK 4–7+ | Color Settles
The pigment gradually becomes easier to evaluate, and the brows begin to look softer and more natural.
This is when we can better see which areas retained pigment well and which areas may need a little refinement.
✨ TOUCH-UP | The Finishing Details
Once the skin has fully recovered, lighter strokes, soft spots in the shading, or small areas that need more balance can be refined at the touch-up.
Every skin heals differently. Skin type, oil production, lifestyle, aftercare, and individual pigment retention can all affect the healed result — especially with very fine hair strokes.
Don’t judge your brows while they’re still healing. 🤎
The goal isn’t just beautiful brows on Day 1 — it’s soft, balanced, natural-looking brows after the skin has had time to heal. ✨

Every skin type heals permanent makeup differently.
Things like skin texture, pore visibility, oil production, previous pigment, and even lifestyle can all influence how brow pigment settles and heals over time.
On skin with more visible texture, very fine hair strokes may sometimes heal softer or less crisp than they would on smoother skin. That doesn’t mean the skin is unsuitable for permanent makeup — it simply means the technique needs to be chosen more thoughtfully.
For some clients, a soft Ombre or shaded technique may heal more evenly and give a cleaner, more balanced result over time. For others, hair strokes or a Combo technique can still work beautifully.
That is why I never choose a brow technique based only on a trend or a photo.
I look at the client’s natural brow hair, skin texture, existing pigment, facial structure, and how the skin is likely to heal before recommending a technique.
The goal is not only to make the brows look beautiful immediately after the appointment.
The real goal is to create brows that still look soft, balanced, and flattering after they heal.
Every face is different.
Every skin type is different.
And good permanent makeup should work with the skin — not against it.
