When the Janice Woodside foundation reached out to us with their story, we were immediately drawn in. Founded in memory of Janice Woodside, who led a life of love through her breast cancer journey as a single mother, this organization was created to ensure that no single mother facing breast cancer has to walk the path alone.

Around four years ago, we started collecting lightly loved donated hair pieces and created our Day of Kindness. A yearly event that invites our local community into our office to get a donated wig for free, no questions asked, because everyone deserves to wear hair if they choose to. This year we are so excited to host a booth with 50 donated hair pieces to give away at the NAAF Walk for Alopecia Dallas event!!

With our large hair donation collection, our Walk for Alopecia event coming up and our dedication to serving the women of our community - it was the perfect time to share our efforts with Janice Woodside.

Q&A (detailed version) on how to get your closed lace topper to lay flat 👇🏼

You are unique and special, and so is your forehead! 😆
Toppers out of the box may not be shaped to your forehead curvature so you may have to reshape it.

This actually works best with the topper on your head so you make sure it molds correctly. Take a water spray and generously spray the hair part near the topper rim.

Press a metal rat tail comb against the topper rim and forehead so it lays flat. Blow dry on low heat until completely dry.
