Blake Tollison Shelton was born on this day in 1976 in Ada, Oklahoma. He started singing at an early age and moved to Nashville after graduating from high school.
His debut single, "Austin," was released in 2001 and became a #1 hit. Blake now has 30 chart-topping songs to his name, the most recent being "Texas."
On top of his country music career, Blake is beloved for serving as a longtime coach on "The Voice." He coached for 23 seasons and led nine singers to victory.
Today, Blake is busy celebrating as he turns 49 years old! 🤠 🎉
