My sweet client went to go get a Brazilian blow out from another stylist. He told her he needed to cut her hair before he could do the blow out to get rid of some dry ends. She figured “okay, no worries.. they are the professional,” and let them proceed. Unfortunately, the before pictures was the cut she received. Her hair was very choppy with no rhyme or reason for the layers that were added. She leaves for Belize this week and was feeling so horrible about herself. There were parts of her hair that were 2 inches long! We had to cut way more than we both would’ve liked with LOTS of blending, but now she has a cute cut that’s a lot more manageable! It breaks my heart this happened to her but so happy I was able to do SOMETHING to bring it back. Always ask lots of questions and make sure your stylist is doing what you want. They will always give you their professional opinion but if you don’t feel comfortable, don’t do it! ❤️
