Happy Friday ✨⚡️
Book your appointments today for a high frequency facial.
High frequency increases oxygen to the skin, improving the overall texture, tone, and glow and helps to treat acne problems. All of this promotes collagen stimulation and elastin production, providing a firmer and more youthful appearance.

UV (ultraviolet) rays are one of the biggest risk factors for skin cancer. Though they only make up a small portion of the sun’s rays, they are the main cause of the sun’s damaging effects on a person’s skin. These rays not only cause skin cancer, but they can also damage skin, create wrinkles, and lead to sunburns.
A common misconception about sunlight is that if it is cloudy outside, you will be fine and there will be no need to wear sunscreen. This is completely false! Up to 80% of these UV rays in sunlight can pass through the clouds! UV rays can even reflect off any snow and water that is on the ground. This means that on cloudy days and even on snowy days, your skin is still at risk. This is why it is important to wear sunscreen all year long, no matter what the conditions are. If you are going to be outside for a long time, make sure to be prepared by protecting yourself with sunscreen.
If you want to maximize the protection you will get, here are a few helpful tips to make sure that you get the most of your sunscreen usage:
Choose a sunscreen with UV protection.
Apply sunscreen at least 20 to 30 minutes before going outside.
Make sure to cover all your exposed skin evenly with sunscreen.
Reapply your sunscreen about every two hours.
Do not forget to apply sunscreen to any less commonly remembered areas (backs of hands, ears, legs, feet, etc.).

Your Esthetician cries a little on the inside when you tell her you use Apricot Scrub. This popular drug store exfoliant can cause damage to your skin…
Why? Because not only is using walnut shells a damaging ingredient for a physical exfoliant, the other cheap, and pore clogging ingredients in these scrubs, do not help your skin whatsoever. Particularly, if you have sensitive, or acneic skin.
First of all, natural raw materials used in natural cosmetics, most commonly vegetable oils, are structurally similar to the lipids in our skin, allowing it to use them more effectively. All these raw materials are made of different chemical compounds, mixed in proportions that are not always possible to reproduce in a lab. It is these unique proportions that intensify each other, strengthening the overall mixture (synergism).
More than half the cosmetics sold in the United States and Canada likely contain high levels of a toxic industrial compound linked to serious health conditions. I would recommend finding a natural skincare routine that works just for you ❤️✨

“Alcohol is known to dehydrate the skin, depriving it of the moisture and nutrients it needs to keep our complexion looking radiant, supple and youthful. It’s ok to drink, just don’t overdue it ‼️‼️

Happy Monday ✨❤️
With the New Year upon us, it is a great time to re-evaluate where you are with your skin care and make any necessary changes. While we might be focused on working out, eating healthier, and taking more time for ourselves, it is equally as important to focus on the skin, as it is an essential part of the health of our bodies. Investing in it will pay off in many ways; you will be healthier, age more gracefully, and feel better!
As it is our largest organ, our skin is responsible for 25% of our immune system. What we put into our body is 70% responsible for its health, while the remaining 30% is how we treat it on the outside. And when I talk about the skin, I am not just referring to the face, which I believe starts at the ni***es and ends at the hairline - I am referring to the entire body. Don’t forget about your arms, legs, butt, back, stomach, and hands.
No matter the budget, you can always take good care of your skin. Begin by seeking out a professional to guide you in both treatment and product choices. We each have unique skin conditions, lifestyles, and live in different climates, which all affect the health of our skin. A good professional will give you the right information.

Dermaplaning is an exfoliation treatment that involves gently scraping the face with a medical-grade scalpel to remove the very top layer of skin. The shave removes both dead skin cells and the fine vellus hairs that are known as peach fuzz, leaving the surface of the face ultra smooth. By stimulating the development of new skin cells, this type of exfoliation — sometimes called a scalpel facial — helps new skin rise to the surface. It leaves patients with a more youthful and dewy face, but without any harsh chemicals, excessive downtime, or pain.
Because it gets rid of dead skin cells and spurs the development of new cells, this treatment has a rejuvenating effect on the skin. The skin tone is evened out and hyperpigmentation — the darker spots that can appear on the skin — eases. Overall, the skin takes on a fresher and brighter appearance. Rough spots on the surface of the skin are smoothed over, and the patient’s complexion is brightened ✨✨

Good morning ☀️
Here’s a few tips on how to keep that skin glowing, Happy Thursday 💫✨
10/21/2021
Throughout the day, your skin is exposed to smoke, pollutants and UV radiation along with dirt and grime. These elements damage your skin by creating free radicals aka unstable molecules that attack healthy skin cells to stabilize themselves. Establishing a good nighttime skincare routine is essential to aid our skin’s natural repair and rejuvenation process.
🌱 When you clean your skin well at night, it helps prevent clogged pores and reduce the occurrence of blackheads and pimples.
🌱Skin pe*******on levels are higher at
night, so your products will work much better and also give you faster results.
🌱Our skin produces less sebum (oil) at night so moisturizing your skin at night will help reduce transepidermal water loss and keep your skin hydrated all night.
🌱 When you follow a good nighttime skincare routine, you will wake up with smoother, softer, and more radiant-looking skin in the morning.
