⚠️TRIGGER WARNING… many of you will probably relate to this hardcore.
I was a little girl once. 📆⏳👣
🥹🤯 I found these pics and was reminded of her… and it brought me to tears - thinking about all the trauma she has already encountered and all the abuse and suffering she would endure in the years to come.
💁🏼♀️She is me. She is a warrior whom God created in his image and subsequently prepared for 41 years to fight a battle she didn’t realize she was being prepared for.
😣The abuse. The assault. The violence. The trauma. The humiliation. The bullying. The abandonment. The rejection. The weight struggles. The self hatred. The self loathing. Low self-esteem. The isolation. The loneliness…
…and now the battle. The battle I’m fighting for myself and others. God wasn’t punishing me. He was preparing me. He was preparing me so that he could use me to serve others. To fight for them. To encourage and inspire them. To be a light in the dark. To be a beacon of hope for someone lost.
📖One day, as my platform grew and I became more and more inspired and encouraged by the women who follow me, I prayed to God and thanked him for blessing me so much and giving me such a beautiful gift….
👉🏼His response???
“I’m not blessing you; I’m blessing them.”
God didn’t make David a King and simply hand him a crown. Instead, he presented him with Goliath to PREPARE him to be a King. 👑
