Meet your nail tech! Hi everyone, my name is Gabby and I am the owner of the new GiGi’s Lacquer Lounge, formerly known as Pretty and Polished Studio. I am licensed nail tech and I have doing nails for 3 going on 4 years. I am 28 years old (my birthday is on 2/22) and I am from Broward County. My earliest memory of my love for nails actually stemmed from when I was a kid. I used to love going into the nail salons and smelling the what I now know is monomer and acetone in the air 😂 I also always used to spend hours on the computer looking at nail designs and watching the few nail tutorials that were available at the time. In 2013, my freshman year of college, I was on Pinterest and kept seeing that there was a need for Black nail techs and Black nail salons. Little did I know, that planted the seed for me to move into what became my hobby and passion and now my career. I love giving my clients a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere and experience whilst I get to create works of art on their nails and transform their feet. My studio is open to both male and female clients to enjoy the Lacquer Lounge experience. And who knows… maybe I’ll be expanding my services in the future 👀I hope you all will join me on my journey back into entrepreneurship and providing beauty services to my growing clientele 💜✨

My first ever full set in 2020 versus now. As I journey back into doing what I love, I have to remind myself that it’s not about the destination, it’s about the journey and the progress. I may not be where I want to be yet, but I’m going to get there one day if I keep trying.
