Service providers, what is your relationship with content creation? 👀

Because apparently being good at the service is no longer the only job. 😩

I’m realizing that I don’t have to force myself to love this part of my business. I do, however, have to learn how to be disciplined with it, give myself grace while I’m learning, and find a way to show up that still feels like me.

And honestly, I think there’s something to be said for learning how to steward even the parts of the work that aren’t necessarily our favorite.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord…” — Colossians 3:23

So no, content creation may never become my favorite part of being a braider, but I can still be intentional about how I approach it.

If you’re a service provider, do you actually enjoy creating content or is it something you’ve had to learn to be disciplined with too? And what has helped you stay consistent without feeling like social media is consuming you?

I really need to hear from the class.

Some styles just aren’t that protective.

I love a clean install and a good picture just like everybody else, but I’m never choosing the picture over the hair underneath it.

My client still has to live with her hair after the braids come out. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Pretty AND healthy. We can do both.
