Dirty Jim Soap

If you're feeling down and think that what you do doesn't make a difference because it's too small, remember everything counts! Even if it isn't mentioned anywhere.
I originally wasnt going to post about donating (Dirty Jim donates 10% of profits). I feel like sometimes what I do doesn't make a difference, because it's so small in a world so big.
Remember that you are stronger than you think, and you have the power to make a difference in the world.
This picture is my donation going to Elmore SPCA tomorrow when they open back up. It doesn't look like a lot, and it's not a huge donation that is going to be mentioned anywhere else. However, it makes me feel so good knowing that I can improve the lives of the animals in the shelter though, even if it's just a little bit. Imagine that little amount compounded over a community, it could add up to be such a huge difference.

Hello and thank you for visiting Dirty Jim Soap! We here at Dirty Jim Soap realize there are A LOT of options when it comes to homemade soap and would like to personally thank you for visiting our page.

Dirty Jim Soap was created out of curiosity. Growing tired of commercial soaps that contained unnecessary chemicals, I initially started by trying other oil based soaps.

When I switched I found that, over time, my skin changed - it became smoother and more moisturized, not as scaly and dried out. Naturally curious by nature, I thought can I make my own and put my own touches into it? - and thus Dirty Jim Soap was born.

I later found that making soap is more challenging than it seems. It is part science and part art. The oils that are chosen to go in to these bars are chosen for specific reasons. They are blended in specific ways to provide you with a great bar that is cleansing, moisturizing and conditioning, and smell great.

Every batch that we make is handmade and in small batches, which mean great quality. We do our best to ensure that these bars also look great in addition to being highly functional. I personally use bars that I make from my batches to ensure that it stays that way.

A little update from Dirty Jim Soap. We are batching again and have a couple new all natural batches for sale! Presenting Dirty Jim's "Kitchen Sink Bar" and "A walk Through the Groves." Two new all natural offerings from us. More details are in the pictures and video.

Dirty Jim is happy to announce a little holiday special for Valentine's Day 2025. Dirty Jim would like to know, are you a "Naughty" valentine or a "Sweet" valentine? Maybe a little combination of both? Pick one of these bars up as a gift to let that special someone know. Both with their own intoxicating aromas they will be sure to be a hit this Valentine's Day. Only 9 bars of each will be available, so please let me know if you would are interested! They will be $12 each via Venmo or cash. Maybe Dirty Jim will do something special with the packaging for these bars if there is enough interest. For those who are curious - the "Naughty" bars are fragranced with "Bergamot spiced black tea," a fragrance that is sure to please anyone, and the "Sweet" bars are fragranced with "Love Letter," which appeals more to the feminine side of things (think getting a vintage letter in the mail with a light perfume scent). Both smell terrific and are sure to be crowd pleasers.

If you love musk and outdoors smells you will want to grab a bar of Dirty Jim's "Adirondack Hike" when they are ready next month. Topped with a linear swirl, a new technique that I have been trying out, it also will have a tri-color swirl in body of the soap. I wanted the colors a little more uniform up top, for a first time though I am very happy with how it came out. I will post a video in a few days when I cut in into bars if people would like to see it.
