✨ 2 YEARS BACK BEHIND THE CHAIR. ✨

Two years ago, I stood back behind my chair and started a new chapter. And honestly, I don’t think I realized just how much these two years would change me.

Hair has been a part of my life for 23 years, but coming back behind the chair after stepping away for a season felt different. I came back with a different perspective, a different heart, and a much deeper appreciation for what it means to have the privilege of doing what I love.

Since then, there have been long days, full books, slow days, big decisions, hard moments, beautiful transformations, laughter, conversations, friendships, and so many memories made in my little corner of the world.

And then there’s Generations Salon . 🤎

What started as a dream has become something so much bigger than I ever imagined. It’s not just a salon. It’s a place where generations of women in my family have poured their hearts into this industry. My mom taught me. I’ve had the privilege of teaching my daughter. And somehow, the legacy continues right before my eyes. That means more to me than I could ever put into words.

To every single client who has sat in my chair, trusted me with your hair, referred a friend, shared my posts, left a review, cheered me on, or simply kept coming back — thank you. You have played a part in this story!

To my family, especially my husband and kids, thank you for believing in me, supporting the crazy hours, listening to all the salon talk, and allowing me to chase this dream even when it meant sacrifice for all of us. ❤️

And most importantly, I thank God. Because there have been so many moments over these two years where I could see His hand opening doors, redirecting me, giving me strength, and reminding me that His plans are always bigger than mine. The salon and this dream would be nothing without HIM!

✨ Grey Transition Journey – Step 1 ✨

Going grey doesn’t have to mean an awkward grow-out phase. It can be a beautiful, customized transition that works with your natural hair instead of against it.

For our first appointment, our goal was to soften the harsh line of demarcation, brighten the overall look, and blend her natural silver into the rest of her hair. The result is a softer, more dimensional color that will grow out much more gracefully. This allows her to go a lot longer between her color appointments and will eventually not need to come in and just enjoy her beautiful grey!
