Thoughts become things! Spreading love and serving others is my ultimate jam and I am so blessed to be able to share and spread the love with the littles🤍💫
My friends know I’ll take clothes for my shine journey but when my girl and global makeup artist asked if I could do anything with makeup she had, I didn’t hesitate to answer YES! I knew I could find a home for her gifts. The abundance of makeup she donated made it possible for my nieces Demi and Eleni to help pack 31 bags of makeup and skincare to the girls at Crossroads High School.
Crossroads is a necessary small high school in the MDUSD that serves pregnant and parenting teens and their children and provide an alternative academic program aimed at high school graduation and beyond. It is their mission to empower their students to break the cycles of teen pregnancy, poverty, violence, and abuse that affect their lives.

We cannot live happily by spiritual sustenance alone nor by material prosperity alone. It is only by having ambition and by crowning that ambition with the idea of service to others, either by helping them individually or by working for some great cause, they will find a spiritual reason for making money for yourself and others. To help others to help themselves also spiritualize his ambition. An Almighty Power has linked us all together. Whenever you help others you are helping yourself.

When you support my shine journey you support my efforts to give unto others in our community.
And by support, I don’t just mean purchases. I mean the massive amount of clothes, material and the unconditional loving energy that I am given to sew all these gems!
Before any of my creations begin, I go through bags of clothes given to me by my friends. So much of what I am given I don’t have it in me to cut up knowing others can benefit and wear. So after I rummage through the bags, the clothing goes directly to the kids in the MDUSD. The Hope Center which is directly next door to my skin care business run the HOPE Extended program which gets clothes, meals and gift cards directly to the kids.
So blessed to be given the opportunity to help and spread love where I can.

This is a special cause that benefits students in need in the MDUSD. It is close to my heart being that it benefits our children in the same district I was raised in.
The HOPE program is requesting gift cards from the following places where kids can purchase something just for themselves: Target, Walmart, 99cents, Dollar Tree, Old Navy, GAP, or any Fast Food Restaurants. Please give in denominations of $25, with the amount clearly marked on the cards with a Sharpie so recipients know how much is available for them to spend.
Donations or heart purchases for this need to be made by December 3rd, delivery to HOPE will be December 4th. You can email or DM me to coordinate donations, pickup or any questions!
Collectively, let’s make sure the Homeless Outreach Program for Education (HOPE) students have a special, warm and safe holiday season.
