It is sweater weather in the salon even if the outside says otherwise!

✨ 2 YEARS BACK BEHIND THE CHAIR. ✨

Two years ago, I stood back behind my chair and started a new chapter. And honestly, I don’t think I realized just how much these two years would change me.

Hair has been a part of my life for 23 years, but coming back behind the chair after stepping away for a season felt different. I came back with a different perspective, a different heart, and a much deeper appreciation for what it means to have the privilege of doing what I love.

Since then, there have been long days, full books, slow days, big decisions, hard moments, beautiful transformations, laughter, conversations, friendships, and so many memories made in my little corner of the world.

And then there’s Generations Salon . 🤎

What started as a dream has become something so much bigger than I ever imagined. It’s not just a salon. It’s a place where generations of women in my family have poured their hearts into this industry. My mom taught me. I’ve had the privilege of teaching my daughter. And somehow, the legacy continues right before my eyes. That means more to me than I could ever put into words.

To every single client who has sat in my chair, trusted me with your hair, referred a friend, shared my posts, left a review, cheered me on, or simply kept coming back — thank you. You have played a part in this story!

To my family, especially my husband and kids, thank you for believing in me, supporting the crazy hours, listening to all the salon talk, and allowing me to chase this dream even when it meant sacrifice for all of us. ❤️

And most importantly, I thank God. Because there have been so many moments over these two years where I could see His hand opening doors, redirecting me, giving me strength, and reminding me that His plans are always bigger than mine. The salon and this dream would be nothing without HIM!

Two years back behind the chair.

Two years of growing.
Two years of learning.
Two years of dreaming bigger.
Two years of becoming the stylist, business owner, and woman I’m meant to be.

And I’m just getting started! 🤎✨

Yes we still offer perms at the salon! And this beautiful spiral perm is a perfect example of why we love them! Perms may have been around forever, but they’re definitely making a comeback and this one by Amber, needless to say we’re obsessed!

There’s just something about a good spiral perm! 🤎✨

This before & after is proof that sometimes you just need a little curl to completely transform a look. We added tons of texture, movement, and bounce while keeping her beautiful length.

I’m loving these curls! 😍 And honestly… who doesn’t love a little more volume with less styling time?!
