In addition to traveling the county, and beyond, putting shoes on horses' feet, here is what Buzzy gets done out in the barn. age 4.
Buzzy Clina has been shoeing horses in Dutchess County, NY for over 50 years. Buzzy and his youngest son, Dan, make up B & D Shoeing. Buzzy has also been making things out of old horseshoes for decades. Chances are if you ever used a railing to get in or out of a business in the area, he may have made that also. “Sword to plowshare” is a concept that refers to military technology, most notably weapons, (i.e. swords), are converted for use as peaceful, civilian tools (i.e. plowshares.)
The phrase also inspired this impulse piece, which now stands displayed in front of the workshop.

These were inspired by a request from Granddaughter Julie, and they're proving to be quite well-liked.
Come see what horse shoes can do at the Shop for the Cure craft fair Saturday April 16 St Gregorys 376 Wappingers.
B&D Shoeing will be participating in the Shopping for a Cure event in Wappingers Falls on April 16. There will be a booth with gifts made of horse shoes. The exact location and times will follow. Come out and see us.
