Why your curls feel dry? 🤨

This is one of the most common things I hear in my chair and the truth is, dry curls usually aren’t about no product… they’re about the wrong balance.
Here are a few reasons curls can feel dry:
• Not enough moisture in the cleansing routine
• Product sitting on the hair instead of absorbing
• Curls not being sealed properly after hydration
• Too much heat or rough drying techniques
• Skipping a consistent routine between wash days
Curly hair needs a balance of hydration + sealing + protection to actually stay soft and defined.
That’s why I always customize curl routines in the salon not just based on texture, but also lifestyle and how the hair is maintained at home 🤍
