Ever wondered how to best prepare your skin prior to an event? Here is a simplified guide to show you!

• Monthly Facials are a must!! I really recommend coming in every 4-6 weeks depending on your specific skin concerns. Monthly facials are also a great way to hold yourself accountable for being consistent with your skincare routine at home. I always go over your routine with you and ask any questions you may have.

• Implementing Professional Products: I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… your skins health and desired results are going to be about 80% dependent on what you do at home and 20% on what we do in the treatment room. Your skincare at home is super important!

• Mask (1-2 days before). *ATTN* this is not the time to try out a new mask. This is the time to use a tried and true mask at home that leaves your skin feeling amazing and hydrated. I am happy to recommend some fantastic ones, send me a DM!

• Get Plenty of Beauty Sleep: Try your best, I know that it can be hard but a good nights sleep will absolutely help you. And also drink plenty of water!

• Apply SPF Every. Single. Day. 👏 need I say more?

I am so happy to finally be able to announce that for the entire month of October I am hosting a fundraiser in support of my dear friend and neighbor, Kirsten. October is breast cancer awareness month so I could not think of a better time to do this for her. 💗

She is currently in her second fight against breast cancer and let me just tell you… she IS a fighter! She is incredibly strong and I am happy to support her.

Here are the details:
For the entire month of October (which is a week and a day away…I know… 🤯) I will be donating half of all proceeds from services and gift cards purchased. Services must be performed between 10/1-10/31 and gift cards must be purchased within this timeframe as well.

Please consider coming in for a service in October to support Kirsten. She is the beneficiary for this fundraiser 🙏

Here are some great tips for you to do before coming in for a facial!

Keep in mind you should not have significant sun exposure 2 weeks before and after a facial. Also don’t book right before a big event if it is your first facial.

Stop using products that contain active ingredients (Retinoids, AHA, exfoliants) 1 week before your facial. It’s best to use a gentle skincare routine the week leading up to your facial to avoid reactions or irritation.

Come in to your facial appointment without makeup on please! This one is key! If you come in with a full face of makeup it will take your aesthetician longer to remove your makeup which means less time focusing on treating your skin so it could cut down on your relaxing massage time.

My lash extension girlies! Come in to see me before getting your fill! I do everything I can to avoid your lash area but it is best to come in before your fill to extend the life of your lashes.
