Becoming Stronger

The Becoming Stronger organization is about reaching out to young teens that don't know much about self mutilation and how it affects people. We want to help show people that they aren't alone in their struggles, and that others have similar problems to theirs, even if you don't believe that anyone could have problems similar to yours. In this organization there are three main focuses:

Educating others on what self mutilation really is, and how they could help those in need. This group will be for those who would like to learn how to help, or how to deal with their self mutilation by talking to others that perform self mutilation as well. To explain to everyone that those who preform self mutilation are not "emo", and that this is just an offensive stereotype to most.
