With the new year approaching, I’m ready to turn my health around. Who’s with me?
I posted this just prior to covid. Let’s see what’s changed:
Today we are focusing on what’s good in life. Name one good that’s happened to you in the last 24-ish hours.

Eat clean
For those who haven't noticed, it's HOT!
We all know that drinking water is very important. But lets admit it, plain water can be boring. So lets liven it up. Here are few ways to help.
Watermelon is very high in water and very refreshing. It has sugar but it also has fiber to slow down the absorption of that sugar.
Coconut water has both water and electrolytes to help balance the fluids in your body.
Avoid fatty foods and foods high in protein. These will rev up your metabolism and cause more heat to be generated in your body.
A nice cold beer? It may taste good going down, but will actually make you feel hotter.
Coffee and other caffeine filled beverages will also make you feel the heat, even if its on ice.
Raw fruits and vegetables will help cool you off in a very delicious way.
So load up on the salads and top it off with fresh fruit. And keep a bottle of water or coconut water with you to sip on all day.
Stay cool. And keep your pets cool too!
What a wonderful morning☀️ a light rain last night cleaned the air. It’s cool, clean, low pollen and I can breathe.
The day is complemented by organic, fair trained, freshly ground coffee with fresh cashew milk sweetened with date syrup and a pinch of sea salt.
Life is good.
With the new year, what are your new goals?

Foods that cleans the liver
***Foods that Cleanse the Liver***

Here are the best foods to detox your liver.
The liver facilitates production of bile, which expels waste and toxins from your body. It turns excess glucose into glycogen, which regulates energy. Additionally, the liver regulates blood levels of amino acids, which form the building blocks of proteins. Your liver works to resist infections by producing immune factors and removing bacteria from the bloodstream.
