How can Reiki work virtually?
Lately I’ve been having a lot of conversations around energy healing, and one question keeps coming up:
“How does it work if we’re not in the same space?”

Totally fair question—and one I used to ask myself. My first Reiki session was actually virtual. I was skeptical, but followed my intuition anyway.
What I experienced was real. Not a performance, simply a true healing experience.

Reiki works with the energetic body, and energy isn’t limited by physical space. Just like love, thought, or emotion, it travels. It connects. It supports.

A virtual session is designed to feel simple, grounded, and easeful. No drive. No prep. Just space to receive.

Here’s how it flows:
The morning of your session, I’ll send you a short check-in form. You’ll share how you’re feeling, what you’re moving through, or anything you’d like me to focus on.
Then, when it’s time, I create a quiet, intentional space and tune into your energy.
(Yes—Meddy Teddy joins me and holds your place, helping anchor the intention.)

From there, I channel Reiki and move through the session with the same care and presence I’d bring to an in-person experience.

Afterward, I’ll send a follow-up email with notes, insights, and gentle guidance for integration.

Because healing doesn’t require a shared room—it just requires a shared intention.

I didn’t begin this journey looking for healing.
I was simply looking for a way to support the people in my chair a little more deeply.

Reiki found me through that intention—and ended up showing me what I needed, too.

It’s helped me tune into my body in ways I never knew I could. I can feel when energy isn’t mine, when emotion needs to move, when something deeper is asking to be seen. And instead of holding onto it for days, weeks, or years… I’ve learned how to release it, embrace it, or finally let light in to heal it. ✨

Reiki has been the quiet support beneath so much of my growth.
And now, it’s time to share it with you. 🤍

Whether you’re sitting across from me in person, or sharing intentional space from miles away—I’m now offering Reiki sessions both in-person and remotely.

This isn’t about fixing.
It’s about bringing light to the places within you that are ready to soften, shift, and finally be released.
I’d be honored to hold space for you.

It’s hard to believe, but today marks 5 years of this beautiful journey.💫
This milestone got me thinking about where I started-and more importantly, who l used to be. So, I decided to have a little chat with the 16-year-old me who was just trying to figure it all out. I’m sharing that conversation with you below, in case it resonates. Here’s to trusting ourselves and the path we’ve walked.🥂

And a gigantic thank you to everyone who has been on this journey with me, no matter how long. ♥️
She settles into the salon chair with that familiar mix of hesitation and quiet determination I once knew so well. I catch a glimpse of her eyes in the mirror—those same searching eyes, full of questions and a passion yet untamed.

“I remember how lost you feel,” I say softly, running my fingers through her hair. “Back then, it seemed like every day was a struggle to find direction. You’re fighting to understand a mind that works differently, and that inner voice—the one you’re scared to trust—is something you’ll learn to lean on. It isn’t a weakness; it’s part of what makes you uniquely strong.”

As I continue working, I point out something subtle—a sleek car parked outside, the one you once only dreamed about. “That car? It’s a quiet reminder that even the wildest dreams can come true, often in ways you least expect.”

I meet her gaze again in the mirror. “You don’t have to have it all figured out today. Every stumble and every quiet moment of doubt is building the path to the life you’re meant to live.”

In that reflective pause, I see her begin to understand: that the intuition she once feared, and the dreams she thought were too big, are quietly leading her toward a future worth every challenge.

Can you feel that Spring breeze? It’s like nature’s way of giving us a big warm hug! 🌿✨

With Spring here, everything’s coming alive – trees, water, flowers, you name it!
So, as we wake up from our winter nap, here are some easy ways to connect with nature for a little extra healing:

Grounding Meditation: Find a quiet spot outside, kick off your shoes, and take some deep breaths. Imagine roots growing from your feet into the earth, letting go of any stagnant energy that’s weighing you down.

Sun Meditation: Grab a sunny spot, close your eyes, and soak up those golden rays. Imagine them filling you up with warmth and good vibes, releasing any stress or tension.

Water Meditation: Dive into some water – a bathtub, pool, or even a lake. Feel yourself getting lighter as you let go of all that stress and tension, just like it’s melting away with the water.

Let nature work its magic, filling you up with good vibes and inspiration for your healing journey. If you ever need a helping hand, just send me a message, I’d be honored to help! 💬✨

Stepping into the New Year with vibrant energy 🌈

I’ve seen a lot of resolution posts, and while I am all for goal setting… I am sitting in the “reflection” energy and carrying my gratitude into this New Year.

I am so incredibly grateful to each of you who has been on this journey with me whether you met me in 2023 or years before - thank you for being a part of my story 🫶

I don’t know about you, but as soon as it starts to get dark earlier I feel cold… and while it may not be in the 30’s yet, we know how quickly things change here in Michigan.

Check out these tips below to help keep your hair healthy and happy all winter long 👇

Hydration 💧- Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated from within, which helps combat dryness caused from indoor heating & cold weather.

Shampoo less frequently ☕️- Try to not shampoo your hair too often. Shampooing less helps maintain the natural oils in your hair which prevent it from becoming overly dry.
–Plus.. You get to spend a little more alone time with your hot coffee.

Schedule a Haircut 💇🏻‍♀️- Trimming your hair helps maintain the health and appearance of your hair. Schedule regular trims to remove split ends and prevent them from traveling up the hair shaft.

Use a humidifier 💦- In rooms where you spend a lot of time; like the bedroom, use a humidifier to add moisture to the air that is removed by heating systems.

Hats & Scarfs 🧣- Cover your hair with hats or scarves when going outside to protect it from cold winds and dry air. Satin lined hats can help prevent friction and breakage.

Scalp Care 💆🏻‍♀️- Keep your scalp healthy by massaging it often. You can use oils to prevent dryness and flakiness.

I personally wash no more than twice a week. Once a week I do a scalp treatment as well as a deep conditioning treatment. I never leave the house with wet hair, and before I style my hair each day I brush through it to stimulate blood flow to the scalp and use my thermal protector before heat styling.

Make sure to save this post to remind yourself throughout the next several months!

Six months ago, I took an unexpected tumble and broke my ankle.

Little did I know, that fall would lead me to an entirely new path. During those days of healing and rest, a dream quietly took shape — one that I never imagined I’d have: my very own mini salon.

Tomorrow marks the six month anniversary of that fall, and as I reflect I can’t help but be completely overwhelmed at how quickly things fell into place.

During my recovery I focused my energy on white space and discovering what I really, truly wanted.

Having a space where I can create an amazing experience for my guests. A space away from the more traditional hectic salons. And a space where communication can be uninterrupted.

I am so happy to now be able to say, I have created that.

If you are in need of a hairstylist who will listen to you I invite you to head to my website and fill out my free digital consultation form to begin your new hair journey.
