What to expect when getting a spray tan at Silk Tan 🤎✨
Begin by enjoying a cozy, welcoming lobby experience with complimentary refreshments at either location
At your consultation we:
- Discuss your desired results/expectations
- Review your intake form
- Complete a brief review of prep + aftercare instructions. These instructions are provided in your booking confirmation email (check spam if you don’t see it!) and is available for viewing at any time on our website! All clients are expected to arrive to their appointment properly prepped
- Decide “marinate time” - aka the time you will leave the tan on before your first rinse. This is determined AT YOUR APPOINTMENT after assessment of skin type and discussion of preferences - which is why you won’t find the answer to this on any of our resources!
Disposable thong underwear, ni**le covers or disposable bandeau bras, and hair nets are provided along with fun stickers! All are optional for women over 18 years old (please see minor policy for those under 18).
Some clients prefer to go fully n**e, in a one piece full coverage bathing suit, and everything in between! It is all about personal preference - just keep in mind that whatever you wear in the tent will leave a tan line. This is why many clients opt to tan topless with disposable underwear to avoid any showing tan lines for special events.
Our artists then give you privacy while getting ready for the tanning experience. We provide call buttons in each space so that you can let the artist know when you’re ready for them to come back in.
