Hi everyone, I don’t usually make posts like this, but I feel it’s important to address the situation as I’ve been receiving a lot of negative attention on Facebook.

I had a girl book an appointment with me requesting soft chunky highlights. She initially sent an inspiration photo through messages, and when she arrived, I showed her a second photo for clarification. She confirmed she wanted it “exactly like that,” so I worked based off the image she approved.

After the service, she expressed that she didn’t like the tone of her money piece and felt it was over-toned. Her hair had lifted very light, so toner naturally grabs stronger on that kind of base. I explained that after a couple washes, the tone would soften and brighten.

Regardless, I made multiple attempts to fix it because I never want a client to leave unhappy. I re-toned, did a bleach wash to remove the ashy tones, and showed her all available toner options. Unfortunately, she didn’t like any of the alternatives. When I asked what she would like me to do next, she said she was done and chose to leave.

Later, I became aware that negative posts and comments were being made about me on social media, along with a review. I reached out to address the situation, but didn’t receive a response.

I take a lot of pride in my work and always do my best to communicate clearly and make things right when a client isn’t satisfied. This situation is disappointing, and being publicly criticized like this is honestly really upsetting.
