Small business owners… document EVERYTHING.
I had a client send me a photo and specifically tell me it was her bathtub showing all the color that supposedly came out of her hair after her appointment.
Something felt off from the beginning, and this picture REALLY didn’t sit right with me.
So I reverse image searched it.
Y’all. I found the video online. 😭
And that was after I had already listened to the complaint, talked to my stylist, reviewed what we had, and offered for her to come back in so we could actually look at her hair and make things right.
I’m sharing this because being a good business owner does not mean blindly believing every single thing someone says just because they say it confidently.
Take complaints seriously. Own your mistakes when you make them. Fix what needs fixing.
But ALSO protect your team. Save your messages. Save your notes. Take pictures. Keep your formulas. Document everything.
And apparently now we’re reverse image searching too. 😂

There’s no one quite like her. She’s the person who stays calm when everyone else is losing it, can handle just about anything thrown her way, and will absolutely tell you like it is 😂
She’s ridiculously talented, always planning her next adventure, and has a heart that you might have to work a little harder to see, but once you know her, you know just how big it is.
We’re so lucky to have her talent, strength, humor and friendship as part of Full Bloom.

Happy 4 year work anniversary to our Lindsey!!✨
Four years ago, Lindsey became a part of Full Bloom, and I can truly say we would not be the salon we are today without her.
She has helped shape so much of who we are, from the way we take care of our clients to the core values we hold our team to. She leads by example, pours into the stylists around her and has been someone I can count on through so many different seasons of this business.
And if you know Lindsey, you know the sunshine she brings with her everywhere she goes. She makes our team better just by being a part of it.
