Today, this little sweet 5yr old boy came in and let me cut off 15 INCHES of beautiful locks to donate to Wigs For Kids!
My job brings me so much happiness!
And hello? Look how handsome he is with his little man haircut! 😍

Sometimes it’s NEEDED.
As a human, I understand how nerve-racking and upsetting it can be letting go of your length.
As a client, I can see where you hold on bc of all the time it takes to get it back.
As a hairstylist, I’m here to explain why a big chop is NEEDED sometimes.
Here, we see length. Lots of it. But where you start seeing through the hair, that’s where the damage starts. Nothing can be done to correct this except a cut. This is where the ends keep breaking and splitting and no matter what you do, what products you use, how careful you are with your hair.. it won’t being this part of the hair back. A cut is the only way.
This is why trims are important! Bc we can have this length AND have the same density even thru the ends! Once the ends start splitting, the splits will continue up the hair until they’re STOPPED by my magic shears 😉

I recommend trims every 8-12 weeks, even if it’s just a “dusting”.

Hey friends! With the new school year coming up quick, I wanted to remind everyone that my schedule may change from time to time to allow time for me to get to pick ups on time and also to allow for sports events once those start back up!
As always I try to be flexible with everyone’s changing schedules, I ask that you give me grace as well.
Part of my love for being in my own space is having the ability to make motherhood my #1 priority. And as much as I love being behind the chair and making you all feel beautiful, I also have to be sure I’m taking the time to show up for my kids.

I’ll go first!
I did a full highlight + a base break & tone.
Then we installed 18 inch extensions, trimmed and blended.
Followed that up with some flowy, lived in curls.. and a little sprinkle of so soft hair oil to keep those locks moisturized.

And here’s the proof 😍
