Experience joy every time you can! Laugh, sing, cry, dance and spend time with people you love are essential ingredients for great mental and physically health
Play, joy, and love are biological necessities, and the science is unambiguous. 🧬
Laughter lowers cortisol and epinephrine, crying releases built-up nervous system tension, hugging shifts you out of fight-or-flight and into calm, singing stimulates the vagus nerve (which governs your heart rate, digestion, and immune response) and dancing actually promotes the growth of new brain cells.
These aren’t fringe concepts, this is your physiology responding to joy in real time.
We’ve built entire industries around optimizing food, sleep, and exercise, and those things matter deeply, but joy, play, and love belong in that same conversation.
Think of them as part of your health stack — non-negotiable, not optional, and available to you right now.
Joy IS health.

Soursop has lots of nutrients that promote healthy gut, antioxidant properties and serves as anti-inflammatory agent..
Several years ago, while James and I were vacationing on the island of St. Thomas, our tour guide shared a story that's stayed with us ever since. He told us his mother had used graviola leaves after being diagnosed with cancer and believed they played a major role in her recovery. Then he took us to a small stand high in the mountains where fresh graviola leaves were being sold.
That was our first introduction to this remarkable rainforest plant.
Also known as soursop, graviola contains naturally occurring compounds that have shown the ability in laboratory studies to inhibit cancer cell growth and disrupt the energy production cancer cells rely on to survive!
I invite you to watch James Templeton's interview with Kary Gould. Kary shares the remarkable story of his father, who was diagnosed with bladder cancer and scheduled to have his bladder removed. After drinking graviola tea for just four months, follow-up testing reportedly found no evidence of cancer, and the surgery was canceled.
It's a fascinating interview—and another reminder of why I believe nature deserves our attention and why promising natural therapies should continue to be studied.

Have you ever heard of graviola or tried the fruit or tea?

Absolutely! While my right arm is in the cast I’ve been actively using my left arm and hand crawling through poky bushes of frustration but at the end I persevere and feel good about accomplishing something that seems impossible at first.

Those and many others could play significant role in starving those stem cells…
Our diets can both feed and starve cancer cells’ productivity by affecting multiple mechanisms that promote cancer. Cancer cells rely on the ability to multiply, repair, differentiate, and evade apoptosis (programmed cell death).
The recent discovery of cancer stem cells has scientists looking at a whole new approach to preventing and treating cancer.

I add organic flaxseeds to my yogurt every morning or sometimes I add flax seed oil (cold pressed, organic) to cottage cheese or salad dressing.
What if one of the most powerful foods for emotional well-being is sitting in your pantry?
Flaxseed has long been valued for its omega-3 fats, fiber, and phytoestrogenic lignans. Now researchers are exploring another possibility: its connection to the oxytocin signaling pathway.
Oxytocin is often called the "love hormone," but its effects extend far beyond social bonding. It influences stress regulation, emotional resilience, and feelings of safety and connection.
In a recent molecular network analysis, flaxseed appeared to influence genes involved in oxytocin signaling and calcium-dependent communication pathways linked to anxiety regulation.
While more research is needed, I find these findings especially compelling because they reinforce a theme I've seen throughout nutrition science: Food doesn't simply nourish tissues. It shapes communication networks throughout the body.
From hormones to neurotransmitters to immune signaling, every meal is part of an ongoing conversation with our biology.
Perhaps one more reason to sprinkle a tablespoon of freshly ground flaxseed into your day. 🌱✨

Watch the video ( the link in the article ) how to make your own Super Gut yogurt with Dr William Davis.
Endotoxemia: Worst cardiovascular risk factor of all? - Dr. William Davis Here is something to ponder. If you have a higher level of lipopolysaccharide (LPS) endotoxemia due to overgrowth of Proteobacteria species in the colon or, worse, in your small intestine, you are likely to show: Increased small dense LDL particles Increased glycation of small LDL particles Increase...

Completely agree! I believe in shared happiness and joy. Community, sense of belonging, experiencing joy together, laughter, singing and dancing, any kind of movement are essential for living longer and healthier lives.
