Only a few weeks away from working the Oregon Trail Gravel ! It’s a goal of mine to participate in the race before it’s retired - but it’s an event i look forward to working all year. Loading up the camper and spending a few weeks on the road is my kind of work!
Camping + getting to work with athletes is my dream job

Putting in AC unit was gonna set me back $12,000 which I could not afford lol. So we opted for some window units! And as of today, every room now has AC!

I’m excited to share that I’ve completed my 45 hour Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) certification!
With lymphatic drainage trending all over social media, there’s a lot of misinformation out there. I’d like to clarify what is MLD
What Manual Lymphatic Drainage IS:
• Light pressure
• Slow, paced techniques
• Designed to support the lymphatic system
• Performed without oils
• Therapeutic treatment performed by a certified licensed massage therapist
What Manual Lymphatic Drainage is NOT:
• Deep pressure massage
• A weight-loss treatment
• Body contouring
• A “full-body detox” (that’s what your kidneys and liver do!)
MLD may help support:
✔️ Edema
✔️ Lipedema
✔️Fibromyalgia
✔️ Headaches and migraines
✔️ Post-operative recovery
✔️ Nervous system regulation and relaxation
✔️ Venous insufficiency
✔️ Immune system function
✔️ Sinus congestion and allergy relief
✔️ Postpartum recovery and support
I’m looking forward to offering this specialized service on the peninsula for clients to experience the benefits of a healthier, supported lymphatic system.
Feel free to reach out with questions or to learn whether MLD may be a good fit

4th year at the Community Connection Baby Shower hosted by the First Step Family Support Center.
I was so busy I didn’t get any pictures. Met so many new people. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to get to everyone that wanted a massage!
I know it’s a longshot, but if you are the woman with blue hair and an orange shirt (or you know that woman with the blue hair and the orange shirt that attended) that was so patiently waiting the entire time please reach out l’a love to give you a complementary session

A school that prepared me well and supports my continued journey is key to my successful career in this field 🙌🏽
Thank you Port Townsend School of Massage
Graduate Stacy Lynne at A Study of Massage has so much to say about her career. Stacy is talented, intelligent and a real go getter. We are so proud she took the leap and is the creator of her destiny.
"Sitting here thinking about how almost 3 years ago I applied for a LMT job in this office. They never called me back or responded to my inquiries. I was really bummed. So I decided to go out on my own and never looked back. Now I’m running that very office with two great therapists alongside me. I have no problem putting in the work and sacrifice it takes to grow this. But it feels so good to do it for myself first.
Voted best of Clallam County two years and on track to making more than I did last year without having to work the restaurant to support it.
I’m excited to support (her partner) in his new journey to do the same for himself. We have new shop space coming soon and he’ll also be doing my media. In a time where I feel like the world is melting I’m so grateful for our own little slice of this world."

Just wanted to make a post with a reminder of my cancellation/no-show policy. I really hate implementing it and I hate enforcing it even more. Every client gets a one time pass.
Please know that I keep my schedule light. This is so I’m fully present for each and every session but this means I only see about four people a day. When someone doesn’t show up for their appointment or cancels it last minute even when they reschedule, it affects my income. With a last-minute cancellation it’s hard to fill that spot and then even if the appointment is rescheduled it then takes a future timeslot.
Usually, when this happens, I have a conversation and let it slide so that my clients are fully aware of why I have a cancellation policy. I have not had to enforce it yet, but in the last few months I’ve had about two months rent worth of cancellations.
If keeping appointments is hard, I always reserve one hour a day for last-minute appointments for those that cannot schedule ahead or need to be seen quick. So I can almost always get my clients in within a day or two and worst case scenario within a week. Those might be better suited for people that have busy unpredictable schedules.
Time is the most valuable thing we all have and as much as I respect yours, I hope that you can also respect mine 🙏🏽
If an appointment needs to be canceled or rescheduled, I do ask for 24 hours notice but 48 is great. That gives me time to fill the slot if not full payment of the missed appointment is expected. Like I said, I hate enforcing it and I haven’t had to yet, but it’s becoming an issue financially so gently, and kindly I ask for some grace with this.
Emergencies and sickness are exceptions to this as always.
