Retinoids can be amazing anti aging products for our skin! However, it is possible to use to much and there are things everyone needs to be aware of when using one.
How often you should apply retinol depends on your skin type. If you’re just starting out, try easing into it. Your skin needs time to adjust and get used to using a retinoid treatment. Apply it at night twice a week, for the first couple weeks, then you can use it more frequently. If you notice skin irritations, then go back to only using it a couple times a week.
When using a retinoid make sure you’re wearing spf daily since this product does make your skin more sensitive.
And always let your esthetician know you’re using one before a treatment! 💕
