Hey guys!! ❤️ PSA!!

I just want everyone to be aware (fellow nail techs mainly) as there seems to be a lot of SCAMMERS(!) nowadays in my inbox.
I have heard of some others who it’s affecting as well. (I have not been actively scammed, just think it’s very fishy and don’t want it happening to anyone!)😕

1- I have had more than a handful of people text me the same exact thing along the lines of “could you make this for me?” Which doesn’t seem weird to begin with, buuuut⬇️

2- I require a phone number to book (which I have NEVER had an issue with someone sending one to me) and have received “1234567890” as a response or absolutely nothing in response. 🙃

3- I have also looked on the profiles, which are VERY fake (1 pfp, no cover photo, no friends, from other states(which is okay if your visiting I don’t usually look at that) multiple accounts, no posts, no other photos, account created today/yesterday).
I have gone back and seen the names of people changed to something different with no pfp, or the profile is removed completely. One in particular is the same ‘person’ who has messaged me off of 3 accounts (same pic, same name.. at first) and when I look at the old accounts, they’re changed to random names, no pfp, or don’t exist.😬

4- I have responded to a few just asking questions and they all either don’t respond, the message can’t go through, or just ask about prepay and nothing else. 😐

5(probably most important to watch out for!)-They are asking to pay at that moment through Zelle,paypal, Cash App, or Venmo, (which I don’t generally have an issue with!!) after looking further into it and adding everything up, and not getting any other info from them (phone #,them asking my availability) and knowing Zelle is directly linked to the bank and how people have been scammed on money transferring apps.. I definitely think it’s a scam! 💸

I’m not usually the type to not offer a service, or not respond to people, sometimes it takes me a second as it’s a one woman show and I wear all the hats for my business.
Nonetheless, if you are a scammer, you will not receive a service! Sorry, not sorry.🫣

Just be aware if you message me, I do typically look at profiles(usually just so I know who I’m looking for when you come in!) and would very much appreciate if we could keep “can you make this for me?” Out of our messages(🤣) so I know for sure you’re a real person, please and thank you!❤️❤️
