A step I have added in my tomato canning process over the past few years👏
Not only do you get a nice thick sauce but I also find it helps cut down on the mess as you have less steps to get done in 1 day
🍅If your sauce is still fairly watery you can also add tomato paste when you begin cooking it after getting the water off the top🍅
I find especially with frozen tomatoes your sauce can get runnier so this step helps a ton if you freeze your tomatoes 🥶
This was my second batch doing this and it’s such a game changer🙌
