To my lash girlies let’s talk about retention issues that aren’t as commonly discussed and may help clients last longer in between appointments ❤️:

• not drying their lashes after cleaning them-it is not enough to just pat dry lashes (volume lashes especially!) You need to be using a fan or blow dryer on cool temp

• crying constantly 😢 is gonna mess one’s retention up period

• picking out lashes and coming in for fills-even if you’re being consistent with appointments it’s likely ruining lash health and affects quality of sets due to lashes being weaker

As lash techs it is our job to provide proper technique and work, while it is the clients job to be maintaining our work and following proper aftercare. It’s a symbiotic relationship 🫶🤝 thank you for coming to my TED talk
