Dolly as your sashaying yourself to another dimension, I’m being reminded of the female country singers I grew up with, and you were definitely at the top of the list ~ so much so that I thought I was dreaming when I went to Dollywood as a kid. “find out who you are and then do it on purpose.“ Dolly 🤍

Life update ~ Out with the old, in with the new.
A tale of a hip gone bad.
After years of loyal service, my right hip has officially submitted its resignation. What started as a trusted companion gradually became a constant complainer, with strong opinions about walking/hiking, weeding in the garden, my yoga practice and even my beloved beach adventures with Lucie.
My hip and I have had a good run, but it’s become increasingly clear that only one of us still wants to go on adventures.
I’ll be honest—I’m heading into surgery with plenty of apprehension. But after a lot of conversations, questions, and consideration, my doctor was clear: this is my best path forward.
So, while this wasn’t exactly on my bucket list, it’s time for an upgrade.
Stay tuned for the next chapter: The Bionic Sheri Chronicles. I’ll soon be back on the trails, wandering the beach, rolling out my yoga mat with confidence and seeing what this new model can do.
Here’s to improved suspension, smoother movement, and back to doing what I love. 🩵

Watching a dream become real this weekend has been pretty special. Karyn had a vision, took a leap, and somehow created a space that feels both peaceful and alive all at once.
Seeing so many people show up, slow down, sauna, laugh, connect, and support her has been the best part — and the weekend isn’t even over yet.
Perfect weather, beautiful views, good people, steamy saunas, and a whole lot of heart. So proud of you, Karyn. You did it. 🩵🔥 .stillwell .townsend

I believe Motherhood is not only measured by the children we carry, but by the lives we tend.
Some women mother the land with their hands in the soil, the sea with their reverence, animals with their devotion,
and fellow humans with their fierce and quiet care.
Nurturing is not limited to one path.
There are women who hold entire worlds together without ever being called “Mom.” Thank you!

To my reflexology clients and fellow foot awareness explorers— 👣
a picture is worth a thousand words…
and your toes are asking for room to spread, move, and breathe. “We need some space”.

Sunrise has my heart…
but sunset melting into the ocean?
That’s pure magic. 🧡💫 .stillwell

I’ve been wanting to write about this for a while, and I’ve been moving slowly with it—being mindful of my nervous system and the weight of it all.
With the release of the Epstein files, and the shock of seeing how many people we thought we could trust were connected to them, a lot of anger is surfacing. And rightfully so. What happened to those children is horrific. That anger makes sense.
But I’ve also been noticing something else.
I wonder if part of why this story hits so deeply is because many of us carry our own version of “Epstein files” within our families.
Not documents—but silences.
Women who were hurt.
Children who weren’t protected.
Stories that were known but never spoken.
Truths that were buried to keep the family intact, the peace maintained, the image clean.
No names.
No accountability.
Just silence.
And I wonder if some of the rage we feel toward what’s happening out there is also connected to what was never allowed to be acknowledged in here—in our own homes, our own histories, our own bodies. I feel this deeply now more than ever before.
This isn’t about minimizing the horror of what happened. It’s about widening the lens.
If this resonates, maybe it’s an invitation to also look honestly at our own. To ask what truths were silenced, whose pain was never named, and how that silence might still be living through us.
Because unspoken harm doesn’t disappear. It gets carried.
And sometimes the loudest anger is pointing us toward the quietest truths. I see you. Me too.

Witnessing brutality—whether in person or through images, videos, or stories—can shake your nervous system in ways you don’t immediately recognize. Even if it didn’t happen to you, your body doesn’t always know the difference. The tight chest, the racing thoughts, the numbness, the anger, the exhaustion… those are nervous system responses, not personal failures.
When we witness harm, our system often goes into fight, flight, freeze, or collapse. The world feels less safe. Our sense of control shrinks. That’s real.
A few gentle ways to support your nervous system after exposure to brutality 🔝 Self-care is always open ~ you can still support your body. 🤍 #
