New Year, New Mindset. Last year my mind was not in the right place. Hasn’t been in the right place in a long time. I have allowed failures and mistakes to define me. I’ve allowed them to change me, but not for the good. I’m learning to forgive myself for the mistakes and to learn from them instead of beating myself up . There will still be some bad days. But I will not let them win. As an addict we are so scared of falling off the wagon that it consumes our thoughts negatively which and these negative thoughts just take over in general. Taking it one day at a time has never been more important to me than now. I will have a positive outlook. I know I can do this. I know I can achieve. And I know God will be walking right beside me. #10 Personal Growth-Develops Self confidence, Challenges, Gives a purpose, Positive work environment, Encouragement and the opportunity to help others. This has been the #1 reason for me. I have seen myself and my mind evolve over the past 5 months. Growth. Knowing someone is cheering you on and not cutting you down. But you also have to show up. You will only get out of it what you put in it. It's amazing how God speaks to us. The sermon I listened today was about am I allowing God to lead me. We ask for clarity, but we don't commit. We don't show up. We need to stop asking God to fill stuff we won't finish. I say all this to say, #10 is also making me show up in my faith. It is giving me the courage to go where he is leading me.

God is on time. It’s never our time. But it’s his time so it’s the perfect time. As humans it’s hard for us to be patient or understanding of this. Even though he has shown us time and time and time again. It’s especially difficult for me because if I can’t see something happening and then I assume nothing is. This is where I am working on growing my faith. Growing my trust in him. Knowing he is in control and knows what he’s doing even though I can’t see it or understand it. We all know the story of Job and 99% of us haven’t come even close to what he experienced, yet his faith never waivered. I want to have that faith. I want that peace that comes from that faith. Let God in. Let him lead you. Let him give you peace. I pray for internal peace for all of you. ❤️❤️

Setbacks. Setbacks. Setbacks. They happen everyday. every moment. You start something you think "this is it", Finally I can breathe, I can relax. But no the devil has to go and mess it up and it all comes crashing down. Having a rough week. Having a rough year, make that last 2 years.
