This morning started abruptly at 5am receiving a call from the Portage police informing me the salon had been broken into at 4 this morning.
The man shattered the back door to gain entry. We were fortunate he only took cash in the cash drawer. The police informed us he had robbed Mimi's just beforehand.
Thankfully we have some good video footage and hopefully this person will be caught.
If you recognize this vehicle or have any tips please report to the Portage Police department.

Tag your favorite nail salons, hair salons, tanning salons, spas, estheticians, barbers, and beauty professionals in Kalamazoo and Portage so they can see this.

Reminders:
• Don’t leave cash on your property overnight. Post on doors no cash on premises.
• Make sure your security cameras are working and recording. So many are not in working order.
• Double-check that your doors and windows are secure before closing.
