Why your partial highlight doesn’t look identical to someone else’s 👇🏻
Base color: the color left between the highlights makes a huge difference for overall and color. A lighter base means less contrast and means it will look lighter overall. A darker base will need more contrast and it will look darker with the same amount of highlights.
Density: trust me I have some clients that their partial is 100 foils and another where 30 foils looks like I did their whole head. So the amount of hair on your head and the size of your scalp will make a huge difference in end result!

When one of your vivid clients is dedicated to growing out her natural and finally asks for a pop of vivid again… you gladly do something subtle but unique!
I’ve seen so many new application methods for vivids and I’ve been playing with them for my vivids lately and it makes me fall in love with the art all over again.
I knew we were aiming for a long stretch between our next appointment so I wanted to be careful about the fade. Personally I think multiple color vivids fade better than a singular flat color and I wanted something that would compliment her natural tone family and maintain her money piece.
I love curating color ideas for my client and making each session special for just them!

It’s has been an honor to watch a good chunk of my clients based grow with me.
From being the earliest talking about her crazy stories of nights out sneaking into bars underage and waxing my own lady bits closed and being absolutely unhinged in general to now being a mom who still says the craziest things but more about mom-hood and wanting to lay down.
They have grown with me and a lot of them have taught me so much about girl hood and mother-hood and I couldn’t be more proud of us.

My best friend’s best friend who I’ve become friends with lol let me color her little cutie babies hair and it was so fun !!
She was an angel baby, and she was an amazing model.
I know a lot of people will feel like kids shouldn’t have their hair bleached, but bleaching a child’s hair is not going to wreck their hair. This child had bleach on her hair for less than 20 minutes and I didn’t pull her hair up past gold. We made sure to put it in a pattern that will look great when it grows out and they’ll be able to touch up at home with home color for low maintenance.
So I think when you are ensuring that you’re doing things with the most care and thinking with lifestyle in mind, a little bleach on our kids hair is not gonna hurt them .
But color can give you Hella confidence and who doesn’t want our kids to feel amazing?
So if you don’t have anything nice to say about kids coloring their hair, I suggest you don’t comment on this post. 💕
Not all dry scalps need special shampoos.
The most basic dry scalps need better wash routines most of the time.
