I only sometimes accept clients who need corrections - when I truly believe I can make the results beautiful, an upgrade for the client, and something I’d feel comfortable having on my own brows!

In this case, my client’s brows were light/faded enough, warm enough, and thin enough to work over while feeling confident in the outcome.

Adding the nano strokes allowed me to create a tailored look for her that would make her feel like she had the hair-stroke effect, while blending in the old ink into the center of the brow. The old ink just ends up adding some extra shading to the center, and the outsides can still come off as fluffy and individual once healed.

I make a point to make sure my client’s expectations are aligned with mine before I start a service like this. We talk through all the details and make clear what’s realistically achievable.

1. I barely have any brow hair, can I still get this service? You absolutely can, and often times this will be the best service for your brows. Depending on what hair you have left, where it’s located, and how thick it is, you’ll have different options available to you for style choices. This is something I offer a free consultations for.

2. How long do the results last, and is there any maintenance?On average, the results last 2+ years before needing a new boost of color. The sweet spot is different for each person, but the goal is for your brows to fade and for a color boost to occur every few years. This will keep your browse, looking natural and fresh, without oversaturating them. Good daily maintenance for your brows is applying SPF, avoiding tanning beds, and not using retinol on your forehead.

3. I have previously tattooed eyebrows, can I get a touchup from you? I don’t offer touchups or color boosts for brows I haven’t worked on before, this is just considered an initial brow appointment with me. Depending on what the ink looks like and how long it’s been there, I sometimes can work over another artists work, and I sometimes recommend removal first.
