🌀Deep Tissue Massage🌀
Deep tissue is a massage technique that targets the deeper, underlying tissues of the body. These muscles are often hard to reach, and can cause some problems. A misconception some people have is, hard pressure is necessary for a deep tissue massage. This is not the case. While firm pressure may be used, there are plenty of other techniques that are used in a deep tissue massage.
Deep tissue massage can be great for:
âś… Releasing tight muscles, which can increase range of motion
âś… Relaxing particularly painful knots, or spots of tension that could be causing pain
âś… Increasing localized blood flow to a particular area, which aids in recovery
Interested in a deep tissue massage? You can book online now! If you have any questions feel free to message me.

Need a quick tune up? I am now offering 30 minute massage sessions. These sessions include all the same modalities that I offer during longer sessions, including deep tissue, cupping, scraping, and more. A 30 minute session can be a great way to take care of those aches and pains!

You may have seen famous multi Olympic champion Michael Phelps, or NBA superstar Stephen Curry with cupping marks. Many people have heard of cupping or cupping therapy, but aren’t sure of the benefits or how it can help them!
Cupping is a modality that uses suction to decompress the layers of soft tissue. In a 2017 study by D. Lowe found that cupping can:
âś…Stretch the skin and underlying tissue
âś…Increase tissue blood flow
âś…Cause a natural anti-inflammatory response
These finding support the ideas that cupping therapy can be used to help clients; increase range of motion, decrease pain, and promote soft tissue healing.
Does this sound interesting to you? If you are looking for cupping therapy you can book an appointment now!

As Vitality Massage Therapy starts to grow I want to introduce myself to those who might not know me. My name is Victor Graviss and I am the owner and sole massage practitioner at Vitality. I graduated from the University of Maine in 2021 with my bachelors in Exercise Science and Physical Education. I wanted to apply what I had learned in a way I could help others. That is when I decided to enroll in massage school at Spa Tech in Westbrook. I graduated from the therapeutic massage program with my massage therapy license in 2022. In my personal time I train to compete in powerlifting, and proudly hold several state records. I have had my fair share of aches and pains from training, which is why I am so passionate about helping others get back to their favorite activities!
