Clay cutters

Ran into my first needle casualty today! Luckily I had a couple spares and was able to switch the broken needle out. PHEW!

An evil eye bracelet for my sister. I think I need some non-shimmer color powder or liquid next. Lucky for me, I just got some and gift cards for my birthday! Shopping time!

I think I’m gonna resolve to make 100 hats this year. This is hat number 5. The skein of yarn that gave me this hat has already made two, and looks like there’s at least two more in there.

Hat number 7/100. I got a couple nice colors of yarn for my birthday and cranked this hat out for my sister’s friend. This yarn was very soft and ended up being a bit tighter than hats 5 and 6. The yarn size does a lot for the fit of these hats on this knitting machine.

Today’s resin efforts. I tried making some polymer clay inclusions for a moon theme. I like the results.

Tried out some wire wrapping instead of jump rings to finish these pieces. I like how they came out.

Been crankin out hats in my down time here at the coast! I’m loving the knitting machine and the goodwill yarn hauls. Happy new year!

Using clay cutters is a lot of fun but sometimes you need to add a little extra paint for details and clean up the edges. These studs came out well though!
