Hey! Holiday reminder! Keep an eye on burns on your hands or arms due to cooking! 🎄

•After care 🩹🩸
-Depending on the wound, Run under cold water.
-Wrap in sterile gauze or bandaids.
-Apply very small amount of Neosporin. (Or just let it rest then apply a few hours later)
-Check the wound every couple hours to make sure there is no infection.

•Good signs to looks for wound healing!❤️‍🩹
-Red
-Pink
-White (due to lack of blood in the 24-48HR mark)

⚠️Bad signs! ⚠️
-Black
-White (after 48HR, May have no blood flow!)
-Yellow (Infected ☣️)
-Green
-Burn is bigger then your whole hand 🤚

•What could effect slow wound healing.
•Age
• Nutritional status
• Disease (chronic or acute)
• Smoking (to***co ,Drugs)
• Immune system
• Medications
•Depth of the wound
