What people are saying about Jacob...
âMy hair looks wonderful! Jacob was thoughtful, warm, and professional. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. The salon itself was size inclusive for us plus-size folks. I will go back!â - Jamie (Google Review)
âJacob is amazing. I have seen him a couple of times, trying to get my red hair color corrected, and OMG. He really knows what heâs doing. Itâs hard to get red hair right: mine had no dimension and weird tones. Now it looks fabulous, and I finally feel like myself again. Love him.â - Sara (Yelp Review)
âLove the atmoshphere at Ginger & Maude. The space is beautiful, welcoming, and just has such a great vibe. Jacob is incredibly talented and just so fun to be aroundâhe always does an amazing job. I always leave feeling refreshed and loving my hair. Highly recommend!â - Whitney (Google review)

What is the difference between grey coverage and grey blending?
Lauren says:
-Grey coverage is intended to cover up 100% of greys and can be achieved by booking our Grey Coverage service, which involves one color being applied to all of your hair from roots to ends.
-Grey blending is meant to either provide partial coverage or soften the contrast between the greys coming in and the hair color youâre used to having. Our Grey Blending service is done using foils (usually close to the root) placed around the hairline, centerline, crown, and nape. This creates delicate, finely woven highlights (or lowlights) that result in a super soft, low-maintenance blending of your greys.
đHead to the blog for the full breakdown, and book your next appointment with .laurennoelle at the Ginger & Maude Hair Salon in Multnomah Village (SW Portland), Sellwood (SE Portland), or Slabtown (NW Portland) online or by calling/texting 971.267.4080.
P.S. In case no one else has told you, grey hair is a completely natural process that occurs when the hair follicle reduces or stops producing melanin. You do NOT have to color your grey hair. Please know you look beautiful no matter what, and we are here to support you at every stage in your hair journey. đ
