Evolution Hair Design began as a collaboration between three owners; the culmination of a dream for an upscale salon in the heart of Downtown Portland that specializes in friendly, personalized salon services. The Evolution stylists know the importance of remaining up-to-date on current trends. Our stylists are constantly updating their skills in order to give you the freshest and most updated look. We value caring for our clients between regular visits with complimentary neck trims, bang trims, and styling help. We’re excited to feature the work of Portland artist Danielle Dutson at Evolution Hair PDX.
Danielle’s work is inspired by nature, emotion, and those moments that are sometimes hard to put into words. Her paintings are created intuitively, using a mix of materials and allowing the work to evolve as she creates.
We love having original art in the salon and creating a space that feels inspiring, creative and a little unexpected.

Julie spent over three decades behind the chair before moving into the business side of the beauty industry, which means it’s safe to say this industry truly is her passion.
