Inspiration 2026: Golden Hour Moves Forward

Dear friends,

Eight years ago I began the first phase of a new concept of wellness called Golden Hour.

My goal was to introduce Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with a new personal perspective.

The concept was inspired by the way my grandparents practiced TCM as a beautiful way of self care. With the importance of the changing seasons and connecting with nature, TCM informed a way of preventative care for everyday life.

This was not to be a standard acupuncture “clinic” but to bring to light the practice of TCM as a lifestyle “medicine” for mind, body and spiritual wellness.

As we find ourselves today in challenging times, the importance of self care has never been more crucial.

This February 2026, Golden Hour will pause its normal methods of operation while we plan for new ways of fostering self care and creativity.

Two years ago we relocated to our current more intimate and historic space in the Art J building.

This Spring, renovation to multiple parts of the building will begin in order to incorporate this goal.

My sincere hope is that the inspired new experiences at Golden Hour/ Art J will continue to build a very special community, along with the ever important chance to reconnect to yourself.

We will be guided through a deeply relaxing Crystal bowl sound bath by Meghan Ruttan while acupuncturist, Ocean, selects points to help nourish the body and spirit for the change in season.
