My client has had previous microblading, and even though it was done years ago, you can still see some of the old pigment left behind. In this case, there are gray and salmon tones remaining in the skin.
When working over previous microblading, results can vary depending on how the skin healed from the original procedure. Many clients heal beautifully and retain color well, while others may have areas that heal lighter or hold pigment less evenly.
Sometimes there can be underlying scar tissue that isn’t visible on the surface, which can affect how the new pigment heals.
That’s why I ask anyone with previous microblading to send photos before booking. We talk through what is realistically achievable so we’re both clear on expectations and can work toward the best healed result possible. Such as these beautiful healed brows 💜

Brows always look fuller and darker on day 1. Trust the healing process ✨
Healing timeline:
• Days 2 to 3 light flaking may begin
• flaking continues for a few more days
• Surface healing is usually complete in 7 to 10 days
• Skin continues regenerating so slight dryness is normal
