Big news! Excited to announce the dynamic education duo of Kristen and Luis Chevere
Both of these individuals have a long history of craft hairdressing and barbering, both are international/national educators and, they are also a lovely couple of human beings. Super stoked for this upcoming class featuring my dudes and . I work with both of these guys and get to watch the epic work they produce daily. Trust me when I say you will absolutly learn something by attending this class. Two unique and separate cuts (One per barber) along with philosophy and advice on a building a better client barber relationship.

Relaunching BTB. I wasn't sure if I wanted to after the long hiatus so this time I'm doing things differently. The original goal of BTB was to strengthen the overall barber/Stylist community and bring about unity in the hyper competitive, ever expanding salon and barbershop industry in Portland. Others sought division amongst our community bc it's all they've ever known, and it led to me dissolving the program entirely dispite it's obvious positive influence. Now that time has passed I think it would be greatly beneficial to bring solid education back to Portland. All artists will be independent, no brands will be promoted, all facets of hair will be discussed. Every class will be beyond and better than anything that BTB has done in the past. This is first class of the new series, it's a freestyle design class with Denver's one and only . He has 13yrs of experience as a stylist-barber cross over and absolutely kills the design game. Class on Sunday was amazing. & shut it down at for the final BTB class. When Mike and I decided to start BTB, the goal has always been to improve ourselves and inspire the community. We have had a blast planning and teaching these classes. Everyone who has come out, every one who has been part of what we have done, we thank you. This part of the country is magnificent and full of incredible talent. There is so much potential to make waves politically, socially and aesthetically and we do it everyday by making ourselves stronger. Continuing education is key to improving and strengthing what we already know. Our growth and progression is vital as barbers, stylists and people. To constantly improve and raise our standards of working and living is essential to happiness, even in the slightest increments. To everyone who has participated in our classes, you show a hunger that will propel you to greatness in your career as long as you keep striving to be better than you were yesterday. The time and study you put in now will result in your success tomorrow. Thank you to for opening up your incredible salon space to us.
