True story… but it couldn’t have gone better or happened with a more perfect client turned bride-to-be 🤍
Shannon had booked me for her engagement photos on the coast, and what I thought would be like any other shoot ended up being a prayer answered in every way.
Fast forward to the morning of me driving out of town… without my makeup brushes 😭
I am the most over-prepared artist, however I’m here to say that it really does happen to the best of us!
She was so calm when I told her, completely unfazed or a fantastic actress…
I ended up finding a loose brush in my car, used a couple of hers… and the rest? Back to the basics with my trusted phalanges 😅
After locking in and making it happen… she looked at herself in the mirror…
The way my heart nearly came out of my chest when she instantly fell in love.
She couldn’t stop looking at herself 🥹
And how could she not? She is a literal angel.
What had come up in early conversation about being available for her wedding day, thinking nothing would come of it… was one thing being led to another.
And within 24 hours, she booked me.
That’s when it all clicked 🤍
Because in full transparency… Her specific wedding day had been a no after no for me.
I was starting to question myself as an artist more than ever. The amount of passes I was getting this season on that day alone was taking a toll, and I truly started to wonder if I’m even cut out for this anymore.
But then Shannon…
The very bride I pray for. The kind I ask God to lead to me.
Sometimes I tend to forget, he’ll take you where you’re purposed but it’s His way and on His timing. I just have to push through and have faith.
I’m so thankful all those “no’s” led me to this YES all while reminding me why I do this.
I love makeup, but it’s always been about connection and relationship above everything else and I’m forever thankful I’ve found that in so many of my brides.
If this whole thing is just a glimpse at all to come. Then cheers to 2026, because there’s SO much more. 🥰

All previews for the second half of my season will begin after June 15th! 💕
Thank you for your patience this season as I transition SO MUCH. My new website has been put on pause but will be up hopefully by September in time for 2026 bookings!
